Hands shaping clay to represent how lasting change develops through practice and experience

Why Insight Alone Doesn’t Create Lasting Change

  1. Acknowledge with Curiosity: Name what you feel without judgment (“I’m feeling overwhelmed right now”), and gently ask yourself: Why am I feeling this way? When have I felt this before? Is this current situation—or person—really the same as what hurt me in the past?
  2. Pause: Take a slow breath to interrupt the automatic urge—giving yourself the space to stop and reset.
  3. Choose a Positive Step: Pick one small action that supports the outcome you actually want (like sharing one sentence, placing a hand on your chest, stepping outside, or asking a clarifying question).
