About Katherine Fitz
Supportive Care Practitioner & Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist
BA Psych, DEC Nursing | ARCH, MARA & RITMA Member
I am a Supportive Care Practitioner and Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist dedicated to the belief that lasting change only happens when you feel truly safe and steady.
My approach combines the focused power of Hypnotherapy with the calm, reflective space of Supportive Care. Whether we are quieting a stressed nervous system or updating old survival habits, my goal is to help you reclaim your sense of control and move forward with momentum and clarity.
Real change doesn’t have to be forceful; it simply requires the right environment to realign with what matters most to you.
Mission
Core Values
Focused Restoration: I prioritize efficient, results-oriented support designed for a season of change, not a lifetime of therapy.
Clinical Integrity: My practice is built on a professional foundation in nursing education and psychology, ensuring evidence-based and ethical care.
Relational Presence: I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for connection, whether in-person in Pointe-Claire or virtually across Canada.
Intentional Momentum: I equip you with practical tools to reclaim your agency and move forward with clarity, balance, and resilience.
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
Viktor Frankl
A Foundation of Science, A Practice of Compassion
My approach is informed by over 35 years of clinical insight, beginning with a background in both Psychology and Nursing. This dual experience allows me to bridge the gap between how our bodies react and how our minds recalibrate—grounded in the understanding that the mind cannot truly shift until the body feels safe.
Throughout my career, I have seen that people don’t need a “permanent project” of processing the past; they need a season of restoration. I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions by updating the automated survival habits that willpower alone cannot reach.
By integrating Hypnotherapy, Parts Work, and Goal-Oriented Integration, I provide a steady space to quiet the stress response and find mental clarity. My goal is to help you recognize the inner strengths you already have, shifting from simply “surviving” a difficult season to leading your life with intention and ease.
